Our nurses also run travel clinics where they will review your vaccination history and organise for any travel vaccinations that may be required. You will need to complete a Foreign Travel Questionnaire at least 8 weeks before your intended travel date and hand this into reception.
A Nurse will then be in contact with you to advise further and arrange any appointments that may be required. Please note that we cannot provide this service with less than 8 weeks’ notice, as some vaccines can take up to 6 weeks to be ordered/delivered and appointment availability can be limited. Your body may also need several weeks to develop immunity and some vaccines may require more than one dosage.
Please be aware that we only provide vaccinations available on the NHS and if any private vaccinations are required you will need to visit a local private vaccination clinic. The Nurse will advise you of this when they contact you.
